Zsa Zsa Zsu

 

Ankara Dress: Nigeria/ Shoes: Bakers

 

Remember the episode of Sex and the City when Carrie first meets Jack Berger and is taken by a sudden case of the “Zsa Zsa Zsu?”  Basically that is what this dress is all about.  According to Carrie Zsa Zsa Zsu is that smitten feeling you get when you meet someone who kind of rocks.  For reasons unknown, or slightly related to its flutter sleeves, I thought it appropriate for this dress.  Come on, you can’t tell me that this dress is emanating some major Zsa Zsa Zsu?  It’s basically written all over it.  Really, I think the print, when properly translated, is actually Zsa Zsa Zsu in code symbols.   

Another one of my Ankara favorites.  My mum and sister had this made for me during they’re last stint in Nigeria.  I was waiting for an opportune time to wear it and realized that one did not exist.  I was simply in love with how it hung in my closet.  So now I’m here, wearing it, poetically falling victim to its Zsa Zsa Zsu.
