Despite all supernatural efforts to
delay its arrival, fall has rebelliously returned. But because it came bearing gifts in the
form of trendy fall fashion, we’ll throw this season a free pass!
For those who don’t know,
in addition to New York's coveted, pandemonium stricken Fashion Week, here in Washington we host our very own week of
fashion madness! Fashion Week at the Bellevue Collection is equip with
runways, after parties and leggy, Amazonian like models all fabulously dipped
in couture, splashy resort pieces and F/W must haves.
Textures:
Last season it was all about mish-mashing various prints together, this season it’s
the same concept but with textures, lots and lots of texture. Velvet top with a leather skirt, or a textured skinny with a
satin blouse and skin bag. What ever you
do this season be sure to ‘texturize’ it!
Leather:
Leather is ‘haute’ right now, and not just any leather but ox blood colored
leather! The deeper the Merlot colored
hue the better. The color is ripping the
hell out of the runway this season and every designer has their own
rendition!
Spaceman: Over-sized, outer-space looking outerwear puts any space suit to shame. Think MKA chic - collapsible clothing at its finest! Remember, it's astronaut inspired pieces in there simplest,
most contemporary form - clean lines, sharp tailoring and an obnoxiously architectural appeal.
Skins & Animal Print: They will never leave us! Animal inspired
anything has just become too imperative to any woman’s wardrobe.
Micro-Prints: As opposed to the heavy floral patterns of this past
summer, this time it’s all about super miniature sized geometric prints! Feel free to play the hell out them.
Bijoux Bling: Prada has this trend down to a science this season! Think costume jewelry-like embellishments swathed all over your favorite sweater, coat and or top.

Enjoy mi amores'. Live long and go
trending! Meow.
