Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a chill weekend!  Here in Seattle we had an amazing Sunday: baby blue skies clear as day and sun, sun, sun – I loved it.

So for those who don’t know one of the major trends this spring season is full on color, color blocking, colorful patterns and prints, colorful accessories, basically the brighter the better!  I wanted to share a look utilizing the color trend that could be easily done at home.  Now the thing that’s nice about this trend is that it doesn’t have to be super expensive; we all have colorful pieces tucked away somewhere in our wardrobe (unless you really like black), so it’s just a matter of pulling that piece out and styling it up.

I found this gorgeous sherbert colored skirt at one of my many one stop vintage shops here in Seattle and styled it with neutral colors.  It’s a simple way to look trendy but timeless as well.  You can do the same thing with a vibrant blouse, coverall or even with hyper pigmented heels.  Do try this at home and have fun.  xox
