Last Thursday I had the opportunity to attend the Clutch “Stylish in Seattle” event held at Clutch bag boutique – the only bag boutique in Seattle. The event introduced the public to innovative bags from local and national designers, as well as extremely tempting sales. Guests sipped Italian champagne and nibbled on miniature goodies (for those who can’t say no but are thrilled when asked to say yes to sugary concoctions half their normal size), provided by New York Cupcakes, in addition to receiving personalized fashion advice from Seattle’s very own fashion stylist, Tannya Bernadette, and beauty advice and services compliments of Caruh Salon and Spa Seattle.
Loved this black chain link bag in python skin, great piece for sharpening up any outfit.
The Clutch bag boutique is owned by sisters-in-law Kimberly Arrington and Carrie Arrington. The purse addicts adore bizarre bags, and decided they wanted to share this infectious addiction with other purse enthused women. Originally from Virginia, Kimberly and Carrie Arrington created the Clutch boutique to feed their growing hunger for gorgeous bags, but also because no bag boutiques existed in Seattle. Kimberly Arrington explains “there were shoe boutiques, jewelry boutiques, brazier boutiques but no bag boutiques, so we had to create one,” and that’s exactly what the sisters-in-law did and we ain’t mad at it! To learn more about the Clutch boutique and gawk over their brilliant bags visit the Clutch Seattle website here.

One of my favorite bags: love the crushed and crinkled detail of the leather and the pyramid structured bag flap. Also available in a deep camel color.
My 2nd favorite bag of the night. Love messenger bags, and can’t get enough of the startling aqua color.

Clutch holds bags from numerous designers: Blumera, Rebecca Minkoff, Botkier, Kooba and more. The boutique just recently introduced the fall line of handbags by local Seattle bag designer Rocco e Dante, and I ain’t mad at it. Dante’s exclusive bags are made in the U.S.A using smooth Italian leather as well as Italian hardware for the added details. The bags are classic, timeless pieces that will sharpen any look, and serve as one of your most valued fashion investment pieces. I know I’ll be investing in one of Dante’s stylish bags!
