Stillettos in the Jungle

 

Caftan: Thrift/ Slate Gray Heels: Vintage Albert Nippon 

I’m not talking “stiletto pumps in the club” but in the jungle!  Can you imagine running through the forests of Madagascar, getting your Tarzan on in heels?  If it’s anything like frolicking through the streets of the city in heels 5inches or higher, then I probably have an idea. 

My mind and my feet have been anything but stagnant lately: deadlines are nearing, meetings are being scheduled and events are on the rise.  All's been well, but on this particular day, while sporting this particular caftan and vintage Albert Nippon heels, I felt like a modern day Jane gliding from tree to tree.  And at the sight of dusk, the “she-wolf” sprang out!  Shakira would be proud – just playing, I’ll save her for another evening, (she’s not quite ready to be unleashed)!

But back to the caftan, I uncovered her during a recent trip to Bellingham.  A lovely lil’ thrift score with all the potential in the world.  I was well pleased.  Nice and roomy, and equipped with jungle-cat reflexes, and the shoes...well, I told you the 90’s were making a comeback in my wardrobe did I not?
